At Student Startup, we believe every student has the potential to be an entrepreneur. Our online business courses provide the tools, confidence, and step-by-step guidance to help you start and grow your own business.
We offer three practical courses: Entrepreneurship, where you’ll learn the foundations of starting any business; Mowing, which covers everything from pricing to customer service for running a lawn care business; and Babysitting, focused on marketing yourself, working with parents, and managing your business. You can purchase each course individually, or access them as part of our tech platform memberships, which include one course in your package. Designed by experienced entrepreneurs and coaches, these courses make business simple, practical, and achievable—so you can start earning today.
Free Mowing for
The Elderly
The Elderly
At Student Mowing Services, we believe in giving back to our community. Through our partnership with Raising Men & Women Lawn Care, we offer free lawn mowing services to elderly residents in the Wichita area. This initiative not only provides essential assistance to seniors but also instills values of hard work, character, and service in our student participants.
Students who complete the 50 Yard Challenge are awarded brand new mowing equipment and welcomed into the StudentMowing.org business coaching program to help them grow their first business and prepare for their future.
Free Baby Sitting for Foster Families
At Student Sitters, we know babysitting can be hard. Parenting is even harder. But fostering—that takes something truly special.
To support and give back to foster families in our community, we created the Student Sitters Apprenticeship Program (SSAP). Through this program, we offer free babysitting services to foster families in the Wichita area, partnering with the Foster Friendly app to connect and coordinate care more easily. Girls who complete 50 hours of training and free babysitting receive startup capital to launch their own babysitting business and gain ongoing support as part of the Student Sitters program.
SSAP is about more than babysitting—it's about building confidence, developing responsibility, and being a light to families who need it most.
